MURDER (OR A HEART ATTACK) by the Old 97's From Fight Songs Lyrics from www.hitbyatrain.com chords transcribed by Warren Owen ( wozza@altcountrytab.com ) Intro tabbed by Eric Malm Tuning Info by Jonathan B If you like this then you might like my website The Alt-Country Tab Page at www.altcountrytab.com Tuning Question Jonathan B passed on the information that the Old 97s tune the guitars one full step down so DGCFAD. So you may wish to follow suit, personally I prefer to play with standard tuning and use a capo if necessary. If you tune a step down then you play the song with the fingering of an open G, F, C instead of E D A with capo on 1st. To convert the chord to the stepped down tuning add 1 and a half tones to each chord so E=G D=F A=C C#m=Em G=Bb... its all a matter of personal preference. The C#minors ( or Em if playing on detuned guitar ) could be cut out if you play it acoustically as they are quick punchy changes.
