"Fallen Angel"
(Eulogy for Tas)
(Macey, Beatty, Dougherty, Lamonde)

Written for "Tas" Haas a friend who played drums on the first Rabble Rousers sessions. The song title was inspired by the name of Gram Parsons' last band. Two lives alike in many ways.

You turn your back on God, Dig yourself an early grave
The Devil steals your soul, Some sinners can't be saved
One more fallen angel, Cast from Heaven above
It's too late for farewells, Or your Mother Mary's love
One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
Dyin' to get higher than the Lord
One more fallen angel, On a road headed for Hell
One more fallen angel, Caught in Satan's spell
One more fallen angel, You live the life you choose
You had so much to give, Had even more to lose
One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
Dyin' to get higher than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Are you lost...Forever more?

(SOLO)

One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
One more fallen angel...
Dyin' to get higher than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Higher...Higher...Higher, Than the Lord
Are you lost forever more?
