Tell It To The World

 I've been
 Hanging in there, I've been doing my time
Working
On a little piece of something to call all mine
 It's been
 A mighty rocky road, Lord, I had my doubts
 When I put my whole heart in it and it didn't work out

 And I done a couple things to make me feel ashamed
 They've been hanging 'round my neck like a burden of blame
 But I don't care now, I've had enough of that
I'm sick to death of worry and I'm through with looking back

'Cause the times gonna come when I tell it to the world
Gonna tell it to the world, let the whole world know
There's a fire inside me and it's ready to blow
 I'm ready to burn and I'm raring to go
 Gonna tell it to the world, world's gonna know

 I know
 I'm not perfect, I've been working on that
 Seems I'm always
 Trying hard to stay on the right track
 But there's something
Inside me wants to run like the wind
Like a woman on fire, like it never will end

 And I know I'll never be the best show in town
 But I can't spend forever just hanging around
Trying to get it right, I've had enough of that
I'm sick to death of worry and I'm through with looking back
